I took Owen, who is almost 4, in for his 3 year well check and Ben for his 2 year today.

OWEN

Owen did great and the doctor was amazed at how well Owen speaks. He said they hope to be able to understand 30% of what a child his age is saying and could understand Owen completely. Owen also impressed him by rattling off our phone number (area code first) and our address.

He was a little behind on his vaccinations since there was a national shortage on some last year and our doctors office doesn't do well checks for his age in the fall/winter, so he was supposed to go in at 3 1/2.

He received the Hib, Hep a, Prevnar, and flumist. I went ahead and got this early, so I wouldn't have to take them in again for another co-pay!

His Stats at almost age 4 are:

36 lbs- 60%

40.25 inches- 60%

BMI 50%

Blood Pressure- 98/52

Ben did really well and showed Dr.Love just how ACTIVE he is! Dr. Love could tell I have my hands full with him! He also checked out very well and although he isn't saying as many words as Owen did at this point, he is still very average for his age.

He had fewer shots than Owen this time; he received Prevnar and the flumist along with the finger prick to test for lead.

His stats at age 2 are:

27 lbs- 30%

34.25 inches- 30%

47 cm (head )- 90%
