10 months

At 10 months...

Audrey now has 2 teeth... no more gummy grins :(. Loves to play! Her favorite toys are the Leap Frog Fridge Farm and Fridge ABC's, Clipo blocks, shape sorter and she LOVES her little pink kitchen (I actually hear her in there playing with the pots and pans right now). She love to be read to and we go to Barnes and Noble and read Fancy Nancy books once a week since we don't have any....must keep her fancy :) She surprised me the other day by climbing up the stairs. She pulls herself up, but isn't cruising yet. Has WILD and CRAZY hair that needs to be tamed by bows! She babbles not stop and tries to say what you're saying. Went on her first plane ride to the Dominican Republic to be with her Aunt Alice and Uncle Mike as they tied the knot. Developed some type of stomach virus on the way home. Is showing less and less interest in purees and we are introducing more and more table foods every day. Is very content most of the time, but still wants her mommy at bed time. Wearing size 4 diapers, size 3 shoes, 12-18 month clothes. Looks a lot like her daddy!

Here's wishing a lifetime of happiness to two wonderful people! We are beyond excited to welcome Mike to our family!

Biltmore Estate

On Sunday we got up early, stopped at Brugger's Bagels and went over to the Biltmore Estate for a breakfast picnic and to play. A girlfriend from high school sent me two passes for free that she couldn't use before they expired... we were happy to take them off her hands!

Danny and I were not brave enough to venture into the house with all three kids, so we just wandered around the gardens, front lawn and then played at the Antler Hill Farm.

Ben and Owen referred to the house as a Castle... I guess it is America's Castle!

I waited in line for close to 10 mins to get maps for the kids. It was so windy, they couldn't keep them in their hands...
Biltmore truffles!
Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider near the stables....
looking out over the veranda... what a beautiful view!

Playing at the farm...
feeding the goats (probably our favorite part of the trip)...

Chickens... You know I want my own!
Ben petting the "GoatCow" as he called this particular one...
playing on the tractor...

looking all GQ, like a little Gap model :)

Me and my sweet baby girl....

It was fun to pretend we were Vanderbilts' for the day :)
