on the door...

$15 and 2 1/2 hours later, we have a yarn wreath made by yours truly. I only had about 4 tiny drops of hot glue left on my stick and there were no more glue sticks to be found in my craft box, so it wouldn't surprise me at all to find the flowers on the ground in the morning. I may be revisiting the project tomorrow for some touch-ups :(

Here's the DIY link.... I probably should have referred back to it. I totally forgot to make my flowers all wavy.

9 months...

I am so loving Audrey at this age! I joke that she is just as sweet and cuddly as she is squishy! She has the best laugh. the sweetest smile. the most adorable disposition. gives lots of hugs and kisses. LOVE everything about her!

She is full on crawling and has gotten pretty fast. Can pull herself up. loves to look at herself in the mirror (just like her daddy). Babbles Mama, Dada, baba, dudu (for dog). Will look at Danny when we ask where is daddy and at me when we ask where is mama. Really, really going after the dogs these days. Grabs at everything and is super quick. She is constantly sticking her hands in her baby food, our food, etc. Loves to play and sits for awhile banging blocks together, loves the Leap Frog Fridge Farm, LOVES the playskool clipo creativity table, will sit and watch Baby Einstein videos without moving, but isn't interested in TV at all. Plays with the boys trucks and balls. Her favorite books are Brown Bear Brown Bear and That's not my Baby, but will sit and listen to as many book as you'll read her! is showing less interest in the jumperoo and would prefer that we not put her in the bouncy seat at all. still loves music and she really likes it when I dance around with her. Drinks water from a sippy cup like a champ. Nurses 4-5 times a day. Is a great eater and has now tried several table foods (bread. pasta. cheese. yogurt. banana.) loves Mum Mum's and puffs. She still eats purees. We do a mix of the Earth's Best and Plum varieties as well as some of the other pouches. I think we may start her on beans and other fruits and veggies here soon. She isn't showing any signs of teeth, so we'll still have to be careful what we give her. she has discovered cords and would like to include them in her diet...looks like we need to baby proof...PRONTO. walks with our assistance. loves bath time. She is wearing 6-12 month clothes and some 12 month Carter's outfits, but the pants are too long. I'll have to get her some smaller sizes to last until she grows into all the 12-18 month fall/winter clothes I've picked up. She wears a size 2 shoe. size 4 diaper. Still has blue eyes and curly strawberry blonde hair, which seems to get thicker and lighter by the day.

* Owen just wanted me to add that Audrey can crawl OVER him. He was pretty excited to add this to her list!*

She went to the doctor for her 9 month check-up today and had a great visit! Perfect in every way and no shots to boot!

Her stats...

weight- 19 lbs 14 oz (75%)
height- 28 1/2 inches (80%)
head circumference- 18.4 inches (97-100%)

Ben also went today for 3 year check-up. He did great and also got a clean bill of health! He weighs 31 1/4 lbs and is 37 3/4 inches tall (50% for both.) Ben received the flu mist today.

What the other one is saying...oh my!

My ever so sweet and beautiful Ben pronounces his "t's" with the "f" sound.

For example, this morning we saw a tractor and he called it a "fractor." This is fine and very normal for kids, but will send me and Danny to tears when he says truck with the fu sound rather than the tr. And even more tears are shed when he drops his little truck on the floor and says "Oh no, fu**!"

He said...

While reading one of the Little People flip books with Owen and Ben the other night, Owen said to Danny as he flipped open the police car where the the policeman had pulled over someone...

Owen: "Daddy, why do you think the policeman is writing him a ticket?"
Danny: "I don't know, maybe he was speeding."
Owen: " I wonder if he was going camping?"

A few weeks ago Danny took Owen camping and got a speeding ticket. Thought this was too funny to not share :)
