Making room for baby

We decided that we didn't want to give up our guest room, so instead, we opted to put Owen and Ben in the same room and Audrey will get Ben's room. Owen was not real excited about sharing his room, nor was he excited that Audrey was getting Ben's room. You also would have thought he had a real attachment to the furniture that was in his room, because when we told him his new furniture was coming yesterday, he cried and then periodically throughout the day he would tear up and start pouting.

Finally, around 5:30 pm, their new furniture was delivered and Owen was super excited to watch the men bring everything in and get it all set up. Hopefully, there will be no more tears.

We had painted the room, hung curtains and added a few pictures earlier this year, so really, all we added was matching furniture, mattress and box spring, and a comforter and lamp for Ben. Thankfully, the store still had everything in stock!

I still need to order Ben's name in letters and we are going to have to get a bigger dresser for them to share; the one that we ordered is much smaller than I pictured. I also need to do something on the wall where the dresser currently is. I may move the 2 dino pics that are above Ben's bed to that wall when we finally hang his name.

The furniture is from the Cottage Colors Collection at Rooms to Go.
The bedding, curtains, and lamps are from Target.
The name letters are from Pottery Barn Kids.
The adorable dinosaur pictures were hand painted by a friend of mine from High School (she'll paint for you too if you're interested :))
The cube book shelf was a Craigslist score for $15 earlier this year.

Wow Crystal, that room is huge!! I would have had them share a room too. Looks awesome!
