Celebration Party

Bill & Julie

Back in December our friends Bill and Julie were married. The wedding ceremony was held in Cary at Julie's parents house. It was very intimate and only close friends and immediate family attended. They thought it would be less stressful if they held the reception or "Celebration Party" during the summer for the rest of their friends and family. It was the best backyard party we had ever been to!

The Celebration Party was held at Bill's parents cabin in Sylva on Saturday, June 23. It was the most adorable cabin with the most SPECTACULAR views. They had set-up a white tent in the backyard with a very nice buffet, open bar, and tables with the cutest red check table cloths. They also had plenty of games set-up to keep everyone entertained. Games included bad mitten, bachiball, corn hole (bag toss), and some sort of washer toss. In the cabin they had a slide show of pictures from the wedding playing continuously on the television.

Bill and Julie also hired one of the local favorites, Common Folk, to play some bluegrass tunes. Danny and I found it somewhat amusing when we were leaving and the band was playing a grassy version of, get this, Girls Just Want to Have Fun.

Here is Danny and O at the party.
