One of the moms from the stay-at-moms group I belong to arranged for the kids to take a tour of our local fire and rescue station. Or, well, to get to ooh and awww over the fire engines that is :)
The kids had a ball and even got hats, stickers, temporary tattoos, slap bracelets and crayons to take home with them.
