For example, this morning we saw a tractor and he called it a "fractor." This is fine and very normal for kids, but will send me and Danny to tears when he says truck with the fu sound rather than the tr. And even more tears are shed when he drops his little truck on the floor and says "Oh no, fu**!"

When "uncle" Macky was about Ben's age, he also said Fs for Ts. And every time he saw a "Mack" (semi) truck he would say "come on baby, fuck, doodoo." Now where he got that I haven't a clue. And to make things worse - he was standing in the front seat while saying this. Can you say "DANGEROUS"!!!!!!! Back then car seats literally hooked over the front seat with two metal arms. Once the child was no longer a baby, they were free to roam around the car wherever. Macky also stood right beside whoever was driving in the front seat (my mom) or later, me. That's why people my age and older instinctively hold thir right arm across the seat whenever they have to come to a sudden stop. It's to hold the "chitlins" from flying into the dashboard. Kristen and Kaitlyn used to get so mad at me when I'd do that when they were teenagers in the front seat. Old habits are hard to break! lol
