Biltmore Estate

On Sunday we got up early, stopped at Brugger's Bagels and went over to the Biltmore Estate for a breakfast picnic and to play. A girlfriend from high school sent me two passes for free that she couldn't use before they expired... we were happy to take them off her hands!

Danny and I were not brave enough to venture into the house with all three kids, so we just wandered around the gardens, front lawn and then played at the Antler Hill Farm.

Ben and Owen referred to the house as a Castle... I guess it is America's Castle!

I waited in line for close to 10 mins to get maps for the kids. It was so windy, they couldn't keep them in their hands...
Biltmore truffles!
Hot Chocolate and Apple Cider near the stables....
looking out over the veranda... what a beautiful view!

Playing at the farm...
feeding the goats (probably our favorite part of the trip)...

Chickens... You know I want my own!
Ben petting the "GoatCow" as he called this particular one...
playing on the tractor...

looking all GQ, like a little Gap model :)

Me and my sweet baby girl....

It was fun to pretend we were Vanderbilts' for the day :)
