The Tree

We were on our way to the Farmer's Market to get a tree and turned to see Owen had already fallen asleep, so we jumped on the interstate and headed to Maggie Valley to a tree farm. We got the whole U-pick, apple cider and hot chocolate experience. Owen was cold and not in the best of moods and we are all covered in mud, but it was still a lot of fun.

Looking for tree

This one was just Ben's size
The "family" in front of the tree we picked. Owen was not cooperating and didn't want to be in the picture.
He was more interested in playing with the snow on a different tree
(we didn't have his mittens in the car, so he's wearing my gloves.)
A stop inside to warm up and get a quick snack and warm beverage.

Waiting for the tree to "melt," so we could bring it inside to decorate.

Your boys are getting so big! That tree farm looks like a great place for a family outing. Have fun decorating and happy getting ready for Christmas!

That's so sweet. I never been on a tree farm before. Can you believe Christmas is like 3 weeks away? WHOAH...so much to do still.
